Two thirds water will be enough. Add at least two cups of white vinegar to this
mixture. Remember to wear gloves to protect your hand from antifreeze.
Apply a
thick paste of the above mixture on the affected area. Leave the mixture on for
10 minutes. Vinegar acts as a bleaching agent and removes stains while the detergent
will help loosen the antifreeze from the surface making it easier for you to
remove. Now scrub the stain with a hard brush and wash it off with enough
water. Failing to completely wash off the vinegar can cause the area to be
lighter in color than the rest of the driveway.

generous amount of litter on the area where the antifreeze has spread. Let it
absorb the antifreeze thoroughly. It may take hardly 30 minutes for small
quantity, but if the area to be covered is large, it is better to leave the
cat litter out overnight. The next morning, clean it up with a broom or stiff
brush and throw the litter in plastic bags. Then sprinkle detergent on the surface
and scrub it with a hard brush. Wash down the entire driveway with an adequate
amount of water. If you still get the antifreeze stain, repeat the process.
